The Question That Will Set You Free

I am going to ask you a question which will set you free should you choose to go about answering it. This question will have the same effect as the red pill offered by Morpheus to Neo in the film The Matrix.

If you have seen the film you will remember that Morpheus offered Neo two pills. If Neo takes the red pill it will answer the question he keeps asking i.e. "What is the Matrix?" and if he takes the blue pill, life will carry on as normal for him. As Neo reaches for the red pill, Morpheus warns him: "Remember, all I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more." Taking the red pill not only shows Neo the truth, it dislocates him from the Matrix system he is under. The question I am about to ask you will have the same effect if you set your mind to answering it.

The question is: "Where does money come from?"

It may seem like a silly question and the obvious answer for many would be "The government creates it." If this is your answer, then please answer this question: "Why then do governments borrow money and who do they borrow it from?"

If you set about answering this second question, you are swallowing the red pill that will set you free from the illusion of life in the 21st century Matrix that is the present world order.

I say this in the light of Chancellor George Osborne's recent announcement that he will cede yet more power fiscally to the Bank of England. This is being done apparently to ensure an improved regulation of the financial sector but is, in truth, an overt display of a covert reality - the nations of the earth are in the control of the banksters who run our economy.

The stark truth of Scripture thunders to us down through the ages in the pronouncement of Proverbs 22:7 that:-

The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

Those of you with a mortgage (French for "death choke") know this chilling reality, that if you don't pay your monthly mortgage payment, you will find out who really owns your house. You work for whoever you owe money to. Like it or not, debt enslaves you. This doesn't just apply to individuals or companies; it applies to nations.

Remember this when you hear the new government's mantra that we must reduce the deficit. This means pay our creditors. And remember that, if governments are borrowers, then they are ruled over by those who lend to them.

Go on, take the red pill and find out more...

The Light Shines In The Darkness

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people

This  is from Isaiah 60:2, which is a template of God's Kingdom economy. Isaiah from chapter 40 onwards is mainly addressed to and concerning a future (to the prophet Isaiah) Israelite people living in the isles/coastlands at the ends of the earth. This isn't a vague reference to faraway places; like the Roman phrase Ultima Thule, it referrred to the islands of northwest Europe, particularly the British Isles.

In other words, Isaiah was speaking to Britain in our time.

Isaiah 60 is a wonderful picture of Britain prospering in God's economy, most likely after the fall of Babylon i.e. the present world economic system. This system is already in an extremely stressed condition, since it is founded upon debt and fiat money. It is, in essence, an illusion. Isaiah 60 is a glorious glimpse into a Britain freed from the iron grip of the international banksters and released into true abundance. The wealth of immigrants will pour into Britain and be used for the purpose of enhancing our nation. Britain will be the light of the nations, far more than in days of Empire.

One thing that has been impressed upon me lately, though, is that this will very probably be against a backdrop of utter horror globally. This is what is meant by the phrase at the top of this post. Darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness will be upon the peoples of this planet. However, the rest of the verse provides the stark contrast:

but YHWH shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

What is happening all over the world will be horrendous. This will only amplify what is happening here in the Covenant Nation as the glory and light of God floods us. There will be wars, economic collapse, earthquakes and other disasters on a massive scale throughout the earth but Britain will be a haven of safety for those who live here or can get here.

Now it has to be said that we are to participate in this. By this I mean we have to have a vision of Britain in this prosperous, protected and privileged position. We must start to become true patriots, not in a jingoistic, shallow way but holding to a proper vision of Brtian in glory. The Arthurian epitome of B|ritain still serves us well - a Britain Christian to the core, a sanctified nation, inhabited by a sanctified people (saints), ruled over by a consecrated monarch.

I am not speaking of a Christianity that is abusive and obnoxious of people of other faiths, nor a Christianity that is wimpy and effeminate, but Christianity as it is meant to be: robust and winsome, irresistibly attractive to people of all cultures. Humanly speaking, we are a long way off it seems from such a utopia. But when the Most High moves in this land, this is the Britain we shall live in.

It is also important to realise that it is not arrogant to hold such a vision; it is, in fact a vision of a servant nation, not a master race. One way or another, bad things are going to happen to this planet. If Britain can escape these things and be a place of safety and deliverance, we owe it to the world to be the solution. This is our national destiny, to be the light of the nations once more. This destiny goes beyond tribalism, politics and self-interest. Only true patriots will see this and only traitors would refute this.
